Good Makeup Brands?

Hey girls I'm looking for good makeup brands for basically any type of product. I really don't care what brand as long as it's good. Price is also not an issue. If you could just compile a list of one or two of your favorites I would really appreciate it. Also, what's a good brand of brushes? Are the MAC one's good?

Thanks =]Good Makeup Brands?
MAC anything is awesome :)Good Makeup Brands?
Mac brushes are GREAT.

it blends great and the hairs never fall out.
I like Almay for their long-wearing eyeliner.

MAC has the best colors and variety of eye shadows.

Bare Minerals foundation is a great product for my combination skin.

Diorshow mascara is the best mascara ever! Lashblast mascara by Covergirl is a pretty good second best.

MAC brushes are some of the best I've used.
Miss C, I've tried many brands and settled in 7 years ago w/aularale.com/7002. It's a product line that is designed for people w/sensitive skin and everything I've used, from the face to the feet, is excellent.

As for brushes, check your local beauty supply store.
Hi Miss C, i'm a fan of mac for foundation and brushes and chanel for mascara but at the moment I can't go passed art deco for nearly everything else including foundation lately. the textures, colour intensity, blendibility is as good as mac. i only recently discovered this brand and now i'm addicted. art deco has a massive range of eyeshadow colours - more than mac. i find the best part is that i can create my own eye shadow combinations in magnetic compacts and it's not expensive. i find it frustrating having individual/loose pots. the perfumery where i buy art deco has about 70 - 100 colours to choose from, but i found even more colours today online at www.mycosmetics.com.au. seems like there is about 130 colours all up. there are different sizes of compacts too.

art deco is also great for waterproof eyeliner pencils - the best soft texture I have ever used. easy to apply. art deco under eye concealer is also as good as ysl, but much, much cheaper. going to try their mineral makeup next as i read a good write-up on it in the UK.

i think i'm hooked.
MAC is the shizzzz....Sephora has really good brush sets. Make up forever is a great brand, but the coverage is alot more heavier than most brands. MAC usually puts their brushes in a set around November (I know this is April..but an idea for closer to that time) You can choose from face, eye, and lip brush sets for around $48. Each set comes with 5 brushes and it is common to spend around that much on one brush from MAC.
bare minerals, the only one you'll ever need.
the max eyeshadows with the 3 in them don.t work they hardly show up just so you know
Shiseido:

- Hydro-Powder Eyeshadow (cream, feels like nothing on your eyes, great staying power, non-creasing)

- any mascara (truly waterproof--you can do anything to your eyes and it will still be there)

- Eyeliner Pencil/Eyeliner Pencil Duo (waterproof, can be smudged if you want smudgey eyeliner)

MAC

- eyeshadows (have a tendency to crease on me, but they make SUCH a huge range of highly-pigmented shadows and their dark greys to black are PERFECT)

- brushes (never lose their shape, never shed)
I haven't tried MAC, but Urban Decay is the ****. www.urbandecay.com

My favorites are their deluxe eyeshadows and eyeshadow primer. Their 24/7 eyeliners are great too.

If you want to more about these things, check out www.makeupalley.com . It's where I go to find out if things are any good. (Urban Decay has good ratings there.)
MAC, Urban Decay, NARS, Smashbox, Too Faced, Bourjois, Dior, Givenchy, Balmshell, Sugar Sugar... I love makeup. Just go to sephora.com!
