I think women of color look beautiful with a bronze shadow, or also jewel tones like amethyst purple. You should make sure there's a hint of shimmer in the eye shadow you choose, so they can really pop out!!
Probably warm tones, or a color that shimmers so it can bring out your eyez.
purple is pretty on dark skin, use shimmer eyeshowdow though. also max factor colors- the bright blues and greens ect... just make sure that it goes with something you have on
I've seen dark skinned wear all sorts of colors from pink to purple. But it usually coordinated with their outfit. Just try different ones and if you think that it looks good then that's all that matters.

try blue or green. brown or shimmering invisble would work too.
the best way for you to find the best colors is to speak with a beautician go to your local mall and speak to one they will test a bunch of colors on you, and maybe show you a few little tricks.
Golden brownish is good. At least the golden part gets people attention... but it's all depends if it's for Day or night time.
A nice pearly/pink, lavendar, pastel green would be very pretty, and gold would also look very pretty. These colors would pop with your skin and also be soft and feminine.

Oh since you have dark skin I think gold color will look good on you. Try those cream shadows they look great with dark skin.
